I am Nadja Hirsch, member of the ALDE group in the European Parliament and member of the German liberal party FDP representing the people in my constituency, Bavaria.

My primary responsibility as Member of the European Parliament is to represent your interests and our shared values and attitudes in a European Union that is united in diversity.

This website is meant as a tool for you to get informed about my activities within the European Parliament and my constituency, to learn more about the functioning of the EU, to get to know me and my positions – but also to share your ideas and thoughts with me.

An important part of my monthly newsletter is the section “Was macht eigentlich das Büro von MdEP …” (What’s happening in the office of MEP …). Here, short interviews with ALDE MEPs from other EU Member States are published and it provides an opportunity for my readers to get to know more about other MEPs, their country or constituency. All of the interviews are now also part of my Website and can be found under “Meet ALDE”.

I hope you find this Website easy to navigate, helpful and informative. As you will see, the English language content is only a limited. We will work towards enlarging this section and make more information available to you during the weeks to come.
